"Crossed" the play

The stage play "Crossed" is best described as the 2010 version of School Days!!!

This theatrical production is a modern day depiction of college life and its many dynamic aspects. From freshmen orientation all the way through graduation (or dropping out) college has many commonalities that anyone who has ever lived in a collegiate setting could attest and relate to. One of the major subsets of this college experience is "Greek life." Given that this particular aspect of higher education is so visible, far reaching and historically relevant on most campuses its only right that it serve as the primary focus of this awesome production.

As it relates to Greek life, "Crossed" has an over arching theme aimed at the fact that seemingly whenever an individual pledges a Greek letter organization they seem to change. Whether that change is for the better, the worst or somewhere in between is difficult to gauge. However the fact remains that with the addition of letters to one's chest comes a change in that particular individual. Whether it be something as minimal as hanging out with a different group of people (line brothers/sisters) or something as drastic as thinking they are a completely different person in every aspect after having obtained their letters (lame to fame) the one consistent is that some level of change is inevitable. It is this change and the fact that is can be expressed in such a comical manner that provides the thesis of our production and the catalyst needed to make "Crossed," an instant classic.
